The Art of Self-Confidence Before Making Money Online

Step 1 of Your Self-Confidence Journey: Embrace Your Future by Confronting Your Past

So yesterday, I wrote a bit about the importance of self-confidence and giving yourself permission to simply *start*.

Thing is, doing what seems a simple action can be most nerve-wracking indeed, for a number of downright *painful* reasons.

So why *might* confidence might be an endangered if not extinct species for you?

Quite often, it has to do with your past history…

Baggage that you’ve been carrying since the Magna Carta was penned.

Think back to 6th grade,  for example, when Mr. Hunt called you to the front blackboard to write alllll the ways you misspelled the word ‘disease’ and then encouraged your classmates to laugh at you. Did that set the tone for you trying to reduce yourself down to 3 cubic inches tall for the rest of your life?

Well?

If you could relate in any means to the above, you’re probably feeling just a wee bit uncomfortable, as though Godzilla had mistakened you for Bambi for his second remake. And no sane peoples would willingly and proactively fling themselves into the arms of Your Worst Life Experiences, Now in Living Color!

But to finally *let go* of those times, and gift yourself with the ability to move forward… welp, that’s just plain necessary for you to take the next step in your journey.

To help you with that, run the following prompt in your fav AI chatbot.

Follow the instructions and answer any questions that might be asked. This exercise almost certainly will help you face that past… honor the person you were back then, and finally *let go*.

Ready? Alrighty! Run this prompt and see what emerges. Enjoy!

“Act like a confidence coach and help me look at my past with honesty. Ask me to list at least 3 times when I failed, embarrassed myself, or felt like I just wasn’t good enough. For each one, make me describe what actually happened, what story I’ve been telling myself about it, and how that story has limited me today. Then, guide me to reframe each failure as a learning moment that shows I’m stronger, wiser, and more prepared to try again. End by summarizing these reframes into a short motivational message that proves I can start creating products now, without dragging old baggage behind me.”
