This beautiful herding dog named Ghünter might look like your typical pup, but he’s got a special influence in his life that makes him different from other pups.
It looks like it’s family naptime for these guys, and while mom is sitting on the couch with her legs up and two furry cats cuddle up on top of her, the camera pans to the back of the couch where silly Ghünter is sleeping. he doesn’t fit quite as well as a smaller dog might, but he’s channeling his inner cat, and it just works.

Ghünter, this silly pup might think he’s a cat since all his siblings are, and it really does look like he’s picked up on some of their quirks and traits. According to experts, dogs can really start acting like cats.
According to Wag!, there are some common signs that point to your dog thinking they might actually be a cat, and it’s so cute. They point out that, of course, your dog isn’t consciously deciding to act like their sibling cat, but you can see some of the mannerisms can pop up since dogs are pretty easily influenced by those around them.
Examples include your dog trying to use the kitty litter, cuddling on the bed pillows like a cat instead of at the foot of the bed, or trying to climb onto the cat tree.
Other quirks you might see your dog doing that are usually more cat-like behavior could be an interest in sitting in a box they don’t fit into, kneading their paws on a soft blanket, or, like this silly pup in the video, sleeping on the back of the couch, despite clearly not fitting there as well as a cat would.
