Meet Robin — Pets Fur People’s Pet of the Week, Sept. 14, 2026

This beautiful girl’s name is Robin. She is a 2 1/2-year-old mixed breed with a gorgeous red coat and a heart that is ready for a fresh start. Robin came to Pets Fur People after being tied up and abandoned in front of the shelter while heavily pregnant. She was scared, uncomfortable, and unsure of the people around her.

About a week later, Robin went through a difficult delivery and gave birth to eight puppies. She was a wonderful mama, and all eight of her babies have since been adopted. Now it is Robin’s turn to find the home she deserves.

Since raising her puppies, Pets Fur People has watched Robin blossom. She began feeling better, learned to trust people, and even discovered how much fun life can be. Underneath that once frightened dog is a sweet girl who simply wants to feel loved and safe. The shelter would love nothing more than to see Robin finally know the comfort of a home and the security of having someone choose her for good.

Robin’s adoption fee is $100. If you have another dog, a meet-and-greet is required to make sure everyone is a good match. If you have children, older kids would be best for Robin. Not ready to adopt? Robin is also available through the Foster and Borrow-a-Buddy programs, giving you another way to get her out of the shelter and show her what life in a home can be like.

Robin made sure her eight puppies got their chance at a happy ending. Now, it’s her turn to find one of her own.
