Music marketing takeaways from Pinterest’s 2026 Men’s Trend Report

Pinterest frequently shares trend reports about what its users search for on the platform – which is valuable for marketers because they capture cultural and lifestyle shifts around the kind of styles, hobbies and activities people are interested in looking forward. For music marketers, the most recent data could be useful inspiration for the type of fan activities or competition prizes their male target audience could be interested in.

Some of Pinterest’s men’s trends for 2026 include:

  • Offline & wellness getaways: Pinterest users are leaning heavily into intentional travel to recharge, marked by spikes in “road trip ideas” (+126%), “forest retreats” (+85%), and general “wellness retreats” (+83%).
  • Sports: Men are gravitating toward social sport events, for example “Hyrox” (+193%) and “padel tournaments” (+103%).
  • Workshop Weekend: Craft ideas are also gaining traction, with searches for “junk journaling ideas” (+214%), “easy woodworking projects” (+316%) and “whittling projects for beginners” (+190%) gaining traction.
  • Game On: Communal gaming projects are also on the rise, such as “game night ideas” (+69%) and “chess club” (+98%).

How have artists used these insights before?
Partner with Pinterest:
For example, in 2025 artist Jack Gray hosted an event with Pinterest at their Sydney office. Pinterest had just released their Men’s Trend Report which had a strong focus on health and wellbeing. As the artist’s new single explored these themes there was a natural alignment. At the event, Jack performed multiple songs, there was a Q&A with a mental health podcaster, fans were able to make customised tote bags with Jack Gray collages they submitted to win tickets to the event, and more.
