East Huntspill Church is set to hold its annual Summer Fayre and Fun Dog Show this Saturday (5th September), promising a packed day of family entertainment, stalls and canine competitions.
The fayre will open at 11am with a wide range of attractions, including craft stalls, gifts, games, cakes, refreshments, a BBQ, raffle and tombola. Organisers say there will be “lots more” on offer throughout the day, with something for all ages to enjoy.
The Fun Dog Show begins at 12 noon and will feature a series of light‑hearted classes that owners can enter on the day. Classes include Best Puppy, Best Veteran, Prettiest Girl, Most Handsome Boy, Best Paw Shake, Best Sit on Command, Best Sausage Catcher and Best in Show, with prizes available and all breeds welcome.
Volunteers say they are looking forward to welcoming visitors and hope to see strong support for both the fayre and the dog show.
