Our family is totally wild about orange striped tomcats — and urge anyone who loves cats, to consider adopting these lovable, clowning felines.
Sterling Animal Shelter has a delightful little fellow waiting for the right purr-son or fur-mily. Goldie is as orange as they come, with fetching stripes down his sides, legs and tail.
Orange cats are celebrated for being playful and surprising, and differ from other cats genetically because both mother and father must carry the gene for “orangeness.” Goldie has the classic “M” on his forehead — the signifier for tabby cats (the state cat of Massachusetts).
