Stevenage: Fun dog show to be held as part of ‘doggie day’

Dog Watch Doggie Day will be held at Hampson Park from noon until 5pm on Sunday, August 23.

The event will include a fun dog show – with rosettes and prizes up for grabs; a dog agility course, charity stalls, kids games, ice creams and burgers.

There will also be agility demonstrations throughout the day courtesy of Wrayfield Agility Club in Hitchin.

The dog show is set to run from 1pm to 4.30pm, with classes including handsomest dog, most appealing eyes, best puppy, scruffiest dog, and best in show. Entry is £1.50 per class.

A raffle will be drawn at 4.45pm.

Please be aware that the dog show and many of the stalls will only be accepting cash.

The event is in aid of Stevenage Community Trust – an independent charity established in 1990 that provides funding and support to charitable organisations and people in need.
