It’s every pet parent’s dream to have a furry friend that follows their every command. But sometimes our pets take the commands a bit too far. Brazel is a Pooton (a hybrid between a Coton de Tulear and a toy or miniature poodle), and he certainly knows how to follow directions, sometimes a little too literally.
Much to his mother’s ire, Brazel has found the perfect loophole to one of his human’s commands, and we have to admit, it’s pretty genius. Much like many of our pets, it seems as if Brazel understands commands when it’s convenient to him, but with that adorable face, it’s hard to get mad. A genius mastermind, Brazel proves that there’s always a way to get out of things if you look hard enough.

“Puppy Needs to Be Near Her Hoomans”

Brazel knows his “place” command perfectly; the problem is that he also knows how to find loopholes in the command. Following his mom’s cue, Brazel heads over to his mat when his human tells him “place.” However, this Pooton quickly found out that there was nothing in the command that said the place didn’t have to change.
Instead of staying firmly in his place, Brazel travels with his mat in his mouth. His human never said the place had to stay in one spot the entire time. Technically, by dragging his mat around, he’s always with his “place,” and if you ask us, it’s a pretty smart loophole.

Although we are sure that Brazel’s human is not happy with the loophole, they have to admit that it’s very impressive that he was able to find his way around the command.
In the comments, users were equally as impressed at this secret genius and in awe at his Pooton characteristics that make him appear like a real-life teddy bear.
“Puppy needs to be near her hoomas,” one user said.
Another viewer added, “How could you say no to that face. Such a well behaved puppy.”
“Cute AND Clever! That dog is going to be so much trouble and will always find a way to get out of it,” another person pointed out.
While we have to admit that Brazel’s human is going to have one mischievous puppy on her hands once he gets older, at least his adorable face will be enough to get him out of trouble — maybe.
