TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Pima Animal Care Center reports a big increase in animal intakes over the July 4th holiday weekend.
The center reports receiving 86 dogs and 55 cats from Saturday until Monday. Officials say the numbers were much higher than typical days.
Sunday marked the return to regular intake after a distemper outbreak at the center.
