Shraddha Jain, better known as AiyyoShraddha, has emerged as India’s highest-paid female comedy creator, commanding between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 20 lakh for a branded Instagram Reel, according to industry sources.
The creator, who has built an audience of more than 1.1 million followers on Instagram through multilingual comedy sketches and character-driven content, also charges approximately Rs 3 lakh for an Instagram Story and around Rs 7 lakh for a static Instagram post.
Her pricing places her at the top of the female comedy creator category at a time when brands are increasingly allocating larger portions of their influencer marketing budgets to comedians who can blend entertainment with storytelling.
Over the years, Jain has partnered with brands across fashion, financial services, enterprise technology and consumer categories. Her brand portfolio includes Ajio, where she served as the “Chief of Small Talk” for the retailer’s All Stars Sale campaign, as well as collaborations with ICICI Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IDBI Bank and enterprise software company Workday.
More recently, the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) partnered with Jain for a campaign highlighting misleading advertising claims by educational institutions. In the satirical reel, Jain used her signature humour to spotlight common marketing promises such as “100% placement”, “India’s No. 1 institute” and “become an AI expert in six months”.
Playing multiple characters, including a police officer and a former student of a fictional “Wisdom Institute”, Jain questioned how educational institutions often market aspirational outcomes through broad claims and qualifiers. The campaign reflected the growing willingness of industry bodies and organisations to use creator-led storytelling to communicate complex consumer issues.
The creator’s growing commercial appeal extends beyond branded content. Jain has also won the Most Creative Award (Female) in the comedy category at the National Creators Awards, cementing her position among India’s leading comedy creators.
She has also successfully expanded into live entertainment through stand-up properties such as So Mini Things and Extra Ordinary, demonstrating the ability to convert digital audiences into ticket-buying fans.
Jain’s rise mirrors a broader shift in India’s creator economy, where comedians are increasingly being viewed as premium marketing assets rather than niche entertainers. Their ability to build recurring characters, create highly shareable content and establish deeper audience relationships has made them attractive partners for brands seeking engagement rather than simple reach.
Among female comedy creators, Jain sits ahead of peers such as Gurleen Pannu, Swati Sachdeva, Mallika Dua and Sharon Verma in terms of commercial pricing, according to industry estimates.
The overall comedy creator market, however, continues to be led by Samay Raina. Industry sources estimate that Raina charges between Rs 70 lakh and Rs 80 lakh for a branded Instagram Reel, more than Rs 20 lakh for an Instagram Story and between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 35 lakh for a static Instagram post.
With more than 10 million Instagram followers and partnerships spanning Bold Care, KFC, Flipkart, Tinder and boAt, Raina currently occupies the top end of India’s comedy creator economy.
For advertisers, Jain’s ascent signals a broader trend. As influencer marketing matures, brands are increasingly rewarding creators who offer a distinctive voice, proven storytelling ability and strong audience affinity. In that environment, comedy creators are emerging as some of the most valuable properties in India’s creator ecosystem.
