People all over are making extra money from home. There aren’t many tricks left that are unknown. It comes down to consistency, effort, and finding followers or a niche.
No, you wouldn’t make that much starting a membership on this platform. You could write to your heart’s content, and it’s not going to happen from earnings from Vocal. If that burst your bubble, I’m sorry.
But the math isn’t hard. On Vocal, you would need approximately 4.2 million readers to click on your story, scroll through it, and make it count. After almost six years on the platform, off and on, anybody getting a million readers is unheard of.
I’m not saying that it’s impossible. On the contrary, I am saying it’s a task that has yet to be accomplished, as far as I’ve ever heard. Maybe this will be my year.
However, it is possible to make an extra 25,000 a year.
Say that you want to write a blog or exercise your writing skills to earn extra money. You can make a little extra on this platform. In six years, I’ve collected over 700.00 dollars. I’ve also expanded outward to other platforms.
The key, when writing, is to make sure that your story, article, poem, or instructional is findable. You have to rank on Google, or it’s harder. And the way to rank on Google is to use Search Engine Optimization.

As a writer putting out written content, this is a lifesaver. Without search engine optimization, your content won’t be found nearly as often as with it, and your reads on sites like Vocal, or other written content platforms, depend on readers finding your work.

Evergreen content is, as you might have guessed, named after evergreen trees. They retain their leaves year-round. This symbolizes that evergreen content, like the trees’ leaves, stays fresh and useful. It’s not a trend or a seasonal story, which may or may not be popular at different times.

Honestly, after that, you have to find your voice. Finding your voice as a writer is tough. It takes time, perceverance, and consistent practice. There is no quick and easy route to take. But, in the course of a year, if you look at what’s popular, what’s consistently intriguing to people, and what the current trends might be, you can make as much as you want. That is, of course, depending on how much time you have available to commit to your journey.

If you seriously want to make extra money from home, there are other ways besides writing. Like affiliate marketing and partnering. Amazon is a popular one.
Another idea would be to partner up with companies that offer something to consumers that will save them money. We’re living in turbulent economic times, particularly turbulent due to geopolitical influences.
If we can partner with companies to help represent their products, and show consumers of that product that it saves them money, then we’re hitting a market that is to our advantage.
