The Seattle Mariners had a unique response to their 7-1 loss to the New York Mets on Wednesday.
Following the defeat, the Mariners posted a dog meme on X that was captioned “sometimes when I close my eyes, I can’t see.”
Despite a difficult day at the office on Wednesday, the Mariners don’t have reasons to be too down on themselves. They had won eight straight games going into the day, moving into first place in the AL West.
The Mariners can keep their eyes closed all day on Thursday since they are off before kicking off a 10-game road trip on Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
