Snyder Chamber warns members of scam email offering fake contact list

The Snyder Chamber of Commerce warns members about a scam email offering a fake contact list and urges recipients to ignore it and mark it as spam.

SNYDER, Texas — The Snyder Chamber of Commerce is warning members to be on the lookout for a scam email claiming to offer a “2026 Distribution/Members List.”

Chamber officials said the message, sent by someone identifying themselves as “Franci – Business Executive,” advertises a list of more than 1,000 contacts for sale and asks recipients to reply for pricing details.

The Chamber said the email is not legitimate and should be marked as spam and ignored.

Officials also reminded members that official membership lists are available directly through the Chamber at no cost upon request. Anyone who receives the message is urged not to respond or engage with the sender.
