Tributes to ‘fun-loving’ woman who died in Bilston dog attack


A woman who died after being attacked by two dogs in Wolverhampton has been named, and described by her family as “fun-loving and outgoing”.

West Midlands Police were called to Willis Pearson Avenue, Bilston, at about 23:30 BST on 15 April.

A 78-year-old woman, Lila Hall, died at the scene. A 37-year-old man who was arrested has been released on bail.

“Lila, also known as Carol, was fun-loving, outgoing, hilarious and everyone’s friend,” her family said in a statement.
