North Ayrshire beach dog show promises family fun


The event is to be hosted by Kilwinning woman Tracy Breen, founder of Lola’s Luxury Doggy Daycare in Irvine, who is working in conjunction with Doon the Beach Community Hub and Cafe in Stevenston – where the event will be held.

Taking place from 12-3pm on Sunday, May 24, the occasion will feature an array of fun dog show competition across a range of classes – with entry to each costing £2.50.

With some fantastic prizes on offer, each contest will be judged by Heather Dugdale from Heather’s Happy Hounds.

Furry friends coming along for the day should also come ready to impress with prizes on offer the best dressed pooches.

Though the fun does not stop with the competition with plenty more entertainment to be on offer.

Agility and flyball demonstrations will be taking place throughout while tips K9 first aid support will be available.

Go Play Go Sniff will also be coming along to the event as well as Every Picture Photography.

Live music and “beach vibes” are also promised throughout whilst the show will look to raise awareness and support on offer for those struggling with their mental wellbeing.
