WAITE PARK — During its first regular meeting of 2026, the District 742 board will receive an update on the district’s cybersecurity plans.
The board will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
According to the agenda, the board will also:
- Hold special meetings on Monday, Jan. 5, to reorganize the board and discuss how the district is enforcing its immunization policy, which goes into effect the same day. The first meeting is scheduled at 5 p.m. in the district office.
- Receive an update from staff on how generative artificial intelligence is used in the district.
The board meets regularly twice monthly on the first Wednesday (Board Meeting/Work Session) and the third Wednesday (Regular Board Meeting) unless otherwise noted, according to the district. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. at the District Administration Office at 1201 S. Second St. in Waite Park.
