Since then, the side hustle has turned into a lucrative business, with Megan now making a whopping six figures a year.
Digital products refer to digital files that buyers can purchase and download instantly – some examples include printable art, digital planners, e-books, stock photos and more.
Megan, who posts under the username @megannrobertsxxx, recently shared an inspiring clip looking back at how far she’s come.
One of her biggest ”pinch me” moments was making her first ever sale whilst at the fair with the kids, she said in the video.

Running your own side hustle could boost your earnings by £6,900 a year
”What a feeling it was seeing that ‘you’ve made sale’ notification for the first time,” said Megan who can’t believe how much her life has changed.
It wasn’t long until the money really started rolling in – as just a week later, the Brit mum allegedly made £2,000 from her side hustle.
Fast-forward to 2025 and Megan doesn’t have to work a 9-5 – and instead, she can spend her days in soft plays and cafes with her little ones, ”not worrying about money” and allegedly making £10,000 in just two weeks.
The huge amount of cash also means Megan can treat herself and her family to designer goods, gorgeous spa days at the Cotswolds and even upgrade to a fancy BMW.
The epic success has also seen the mum take the brood to a month-long holiday in sun-drenched Spain, where they chilled by the sea and enjoyed cocktails.
”We could never afford things like this before,” she said.
Now, Megan has also created a course to help others learn how to sell digital products – and some of her students have allegedly been just as successful, making four to five figures a month.
”Life can really change so quickly when you take a chance on yourself, learn something new and put the work in.”
The cash-savvy parent also explained how you shouldn’t be put off by small numbers at first – as the profit can quickly add up if you’re patient.
Do I need to pay tax on my side hustle income?
MANY people feeling strapped for cash are boosting their bank balance with a side hustle.
The good news is, there are plenty of simple ways to earn some additional income – but you need to know the rules.
When you’re employed the company you work for takes the tax from your earnings and pays HMRC so you don’t have to.
But anyone earning extra cash, for example from selling things online or dog walking, may have to do it themselves.
Stephen Moor, head of employment at law firm Ashfords, said: “Caution should be taken if you’re earning an additional income, as this is likely to be taxable.
“The side hustle could be treated as taxable trading income, which can include providing services or selling products.”
You can make a gross income of up to £1,000 a year tax-free via the trading allowance, but over this and you’ll usually need to pay tax.
Stephen added: “You need to register for a self-assessment at HMRC to ensure you are paying the correct amount of tax.
“The applicable tax bands and the amount of tax you need to pay will depend on your income.”
If you fail to file a tax return you could end up with a surprise bill from HMRC later on asking you to pay the tax you owe – plus extra fees on top.
”In the last 24 hours a digital product I sell for £1.99 has sold 14 times,” she said in a recent video.
”That’s £27.86 from one digital product which I sell for less than £2 sold on repeat.
”Imagine that across seven days – that’s an extra £195 a week.
