Latest update on Bill Belichick’s Pro Football Hall of Fame standing

Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick advanced in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 selection process. He has made it to the next round as one of 12 coaches eligible in the class.

Belichick is widely considered one of the greatest professional coaches of all time. He has 333 career wins, with 31 of those coming in the playoffs. He has six Super Bowl titles with the Patriots and two with the New York Giants as defensive coordinator. He also has 17 division titles under his belt and three Coach of the Year awards.

Belichick was the key force behind 20 consecutive winning seasons with the Patriots. He built arguably the greatest dynasty in sports history during that run and helped turn the franchise into a juggernaut.

Belichick has an excellent chance to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He would join 12 members of the organization in Canton and fully cement his place as one of the NFL’s all-time greats.
