Jakarta. In today’s ever-evolving workplace, communication is more than just a skill; it is the bridge that connects ideas, values, and collaboration. Embracing this spirit, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) is once again hosting the Communications Festival (COMMFEST) 2025, an inspiring platform for employees across the UT Group to sharpen their communication abilities, strengthen creativity, and build an authentic professional image.
The festival officially opened on August 21, 2025, with a hybrid seminar titled “Crafting Your Professional Image: The Art of Personal Branding through Communication” at the UT Grand Ballroom in Jakarta. The session featured renowned public speaker and independent communication facilitator Becky Tumewu, moderated by Isabella Laras Anindyo from KPP Mining Corporate Communications, and attracted more than 800 UT Group employees.
“Through COMMFEST 2025, we want to encourage all employees to understand that building a professional image is not only beneficial for individuals but also creates a more open, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture,” said Tri Puji Astuti, Head of UT’s Corporate Sustainability Department.
The seminar guided participants through defining personal branding, building self-confidence in professional presentations, and consistently communicating personal values with authenticity. Beyond shaping individual identity, personal branding was highlighted as a foundation for fostering resilience and long-term collaboration in the workplace.
To nurture creativity and engagement, COMMFEST 2025 also features an internal competition running from August 21 to September 21, 2025, with three categories: Creative Writing, Reels, and Photography. The competition provides employees with a platform to express ideas, showcase creativity, and share inspiration. All participants will receive e-certificates, while the best works will be displayed on UT’s internal communication channels to inspire colleagues across the Group.
The festival will culminate in October 2025, coinciding with UT’s 53rd anniversary celebration, where winners of the competitions and employees with outstanding contributions in communication will be recognized and celebrated.
With COMMFEST 2025, United Tractors continues to reaffirm its commitment to empowering employees—not only by providing opportunities for learning, but also by instilling the awareness that every individual is the face of the company. Through effective, professional, and integrity-driven communication, employees can grow together and deliver meaningful contributions to themselves, the company, and society at large.
