It’s all fun and games until they hit you with the most adorable tactics and puppy dog eyes—something that actor Kevin Costner knows about all too well. The Yellowstone actor took to Instagram to share a hilarious moment with his dog, Bob, and let’s just say the internet is loving every bit of it.
The short clip shared on the actor’s Instagram account is melting fans’ hearts everywhere. It appears that Costner’s Labrador retriever has picked up some acting tricks from his Dad. In the video simply captioned, “Bob gets what Bob wants,” the actor’s dog is seen adorably begging for food, but his dad refuses to give in—well, at least for a brief moment.
Despite being recently fed, Bob made it very clear that he wanted more food from the Yellowstone actor. Adorably holding his food bowl in his mouth, Bob hit Costner with the adorable puppy eyes as he paced around the room. “45 minutes ago I fed you. So, walking around like a beggar is not helping things,” Costner told his dog.
It didn’t take long for him to give into the adorable tactics of his dog, though. “Small snack? He’s working me. He’s totally working me,” he said to the camera. Despite his best efforts, it turns out the A-list actor is a total push over for his dog and we can’t blame him. After all, who could say no to that adorable face?
Fans felt the exact same way and flooded the comment section with messages like, “My Dad is a movie star and I can eat every 45 minutes if I want to! Ever since adopting his lab in 2024, Bob has been a regular guest on Costner’s social media accounts. In an interview with PEOPLE, the actor revealed that it was love at first sight when he first saw the dog. Since adopting him, the two have even developed similar personality traits.
The two are clearly two peas in a pod and with these acting abilities, we think it’s time to get Bob into showbiz!
