Hysterics Over What Dog Does Every Time Owners Kiss: ‘Police on Duty 24/7’

A four-legged enforcer has left people in stitches after a video showing her hilarious reaction to her owners kissing racked up more than 3 million views.

The now-viral clip shared on TikTok by @cinthiagflores captured the moment the dog, alerted by the sound of a smooch, came sprinting back into the room—something she does every single time she hears her owners kissing.

Text over the video playfully declares the pup “The kissing police on duty 24/7,” as she makes a sharp, dramatic turn upon hearing even the softest peck from her humans.

In the comments, people shared their reactions. “My dog is exactly like this. Why do they do that?” asked one commenter, Laura.

While TikToker @heatherbeasleyy shared her similar experience and said: “We can’t dance or kiss around our dog.”

“My boy does the same thing,” said @HuskySibs. “He hates when we cuddle or hug or kiss. He always gets between us and acts all cute so we’ll stop.”

Dog behaviorist Zoe Willingham told Newsweek: “Dogs do feel jealousy, and a lot of what they do and how they do it depends on our reactions when they react. For example dogs repeat what they have been rewarded for. Perhaps the dog butted in once and the humans laughed and made a fuss of the dog and the dog thinks, ‘Ah-ha! That worked I will do that again!'”

For people who want their pets to allow them a little more personal time, Willingham did have some suggestions.

“You can train this out of your dog by totally ignoring their reactions and stopping making any acknowledgement of the situation,” she said. “However if the behavior becomes aggressive or guard-y seek a qualified behaviorist as soon as possible as that can become dangerous very quickly and needs professional help to resolve.”

Other commenters were left in stitches by the dog’s hilarious no-kissing rule. “That sharp turn around lmaooo the paws even skidded,” said viewer Jennifer Green.

While Aubrey joked: “He said no closed doors and y’all better just stay in the living room where he can see you.”

“Not while you’re under MY roof,” quipped TikToker Margarita.
