The world was once more plunged into economic disarray following Donald Trump’s dramatic and unprecedented decision to introduce tariffs on funny little hats for dogs.
“Well, this is a catastrophe for the funny little hats for dogs industry,” said Simon Williams, who owns a company that makes funny little hats for dogs.
“The US market for funny little hats for dogs is the largest in the world, if you’re making funny little hats for dogs, and I mean, seriously, then the majority of those funny little hats are going to end up on American dogs’ heads.
“Now we’re looking at massive price increases. I don’t know if we’ll survive. I mean will France buy funny little hats for dogs? I wouldn’t have thought so.”
Donald Trump has made it a central tenet of his second term that the funny little hats for dogs industry returns to America.

Currently, there are no planes to introduce tariffs on funny little hats for cats, but economists are bracing themselves for the worst.
